Trenching

Every year, trenching and shoring problems take the lives of some of our colleagues. According to government numbers, cave-ins cause more than 5,000 work-related injuries and 100 fatalities each year.

Workers involved in excavation work are also exposed to hazards involving falls, falling loads, water accumulation, mobile equipment, and electrocutions and explosions from contact with underground utilities.
