Bloodborne Pathogens

Bloodborne pathogens are infectious microorganisms found in blood and other body fluids. These pathogens include, but are not limited to, the hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis C virus (HCV) and the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Your risk of being exposed to these viruses is very minimal, although it is not impossible.
