Imagine losing your sight in a workplace accident. Unfortunately, it happens more than you might think. According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), thousands of people are blinded each year in work-related accidents — injuries that could have been prevented through the proper selection and use of eye protection.

OSHA requires that employers provide eye protection whenever necessary to protect employees against different types of hazards.
