Stretching Can Save Your Back

Many back injuries happen during the first few hours of work, when muscles have been idle and are therefore tight, lacking in the flexibility that will be present once they’re warmed up. Injuries can be avoided by stretching for five to 10 minutes prior to the start of a shift. It is also a good idea to stretch at various intervals or break periods during a shift to keep back muscles in good working condition.
